On 16 November 2023, Loreto English Medium School celebrated Children’s Day and Diwali Festival at Loreto Matha Sabha Bhavan. The program was started at 10:00 am with prayer song performed by all the teachers. The highlight of the program were The Correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, The Chief Guest Mr. Sachin Noronha, school Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis, Head Girl Preethi Acharya and Vice Head Girl Sanvi Acharya were graced the occasion. Dignitaries illuminated the stage by lighting the traditional lamp. Symbolizing the victory of light over darkness. The various games were conducted on account of Children’s Day Celebration. The dignitaries distributed the prizes to the winners and delivered a wonderful message to the gathering. The whole program was contained with various cultural events performed by the teachers and students. The teachers and students designed the Rangoli in front of the stage. The students presented a dance performance the essence of the festival.
The PTA vice president Mr Sachin Noronha advised the students to be responsible and follow the rules and regulations to become disciplined in the future. Rev Fr Jason Monis encouraged the children to face the challenge and overcome them. Rev Fr Francis Crasta the President of the function said that the children must cultivate the habit of reading books giving the example of Pandith Nehru
Ms. Mareena anchored the program, Mrs. Sujatha welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Sharal Lobo extended the words of gratitude. The program was binded with school anthem.
