The seminar on soft skills and stress management was conducted on 13th December 2023 by Loreto English Medium School. The programme started at 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon with the presence of school correspondent Rev.Fr. Francis Crasta ,teachers Mrs.Anitha Pais and Mrs Violet Rodrigues along with the students of 9th and 10th Std. The Seminar was started with prayer song performed by the choir group. The Resource person Mr Prashanth, MAPS College Mangalore, started his session with a short introduction on Soft Skills and Stress Management. soft skills determines the behaviour, the emotions and feelings of an individual. He further added that soft skills play a vital importance in obtaining a job during any kind of job interview.He or She stressed on building good communication skills with people around.
To conclude, he talked about the important factors that is necessary for us to know while working with groups or team is that we need to be able to communicate our ideas well .He illustrated the importance of teamwork through various group activities .
The session concluded with the vote of thanks by Ritisha Veigas, a student of 10th Std. Asst.Teacher Mrs.Violet Rodrigues anchored the event.
