Loretto Eductional Institution School Band took participation for the first time at Diocesan Eucharistic Procession held on 7th January on the Feast of Epiphany of the Lord Jesus Christ held at Milagres to Rosario Cathedral.
The students of High School and Primary Section participated at the procession and walked palying the musical instruments for one and half kilometer. Around 7000 people on site who were present for the procession, public and over the live streaming witnessed the ability talent of the student.
The participation was special since no band teams outside the Mangalore city or institution have participated in the history for the procession.
The participation was well appreciated bye everyone for the efforts and confidence of the students. Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha the Bishop of Mangalore appreciated the band team and the school for the participation.
The initiative was taken by the school principal and the students were trained by the School Band master Mr Prem.
