The District Level Karate Championship 2024 -2025, organised by the D.K. Zilla Panchayat, Department of School Education, Department of Deputy Commissioner, Mangalore, was held on 25th September 2024 at S.D.M Mangala Jyothi Comprehensive School Vamanjoor Mangalore. Our School Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis encouraged the students to participate in the competition. The students of our school participated with great enthusiasm. Mast. Chinmay of Grade IX secure first place in the category of weight 50 + age under 17. He has been selected to represent the district at the state level championship, making the school proud of his achievement. Mast. Pavan Kumar of Grade X secured third place in the category of weight -66 kg under 17. The School Correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta and Our School Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis appreciated and congratulated the students and the mentor Mr. Gerald Fernandes for their dedication and effort.
