On 19 October 2024, Loreto English Medium High School marked a significant occasion with the inauguration of the Scouts and Guides event. The School Correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, The School Principal Rev.Fr. Jason Vijay Monis and The Vice Principal Mrs. Anitha Shalini Pais were warmly welcome upon their arrival and escorted to the stage with great respect and enthusiasm, marking the official beginning of the Scouts and Guides inauguration ceremony. The event commenced with prayer song led by Scouts and Guides. The audience were warmly greeted by Varshini of Grade VIII. The Scouts and Guides inauguration ceremony was officially commenced with the dignitaries lightning the ceremonial lamp symbolizing the spirit of service. The significance of the program was read by the Mast. Ryan lobo of Grade VII. Later, Our School Principal Rev.Fr. Jason Vijay Monis spoke on the occasion, congratulated the initiatives Mr. Padmanabha Mayya and Mrs.Rovita Crasta, And expressed his happiness over this milestone in our school’s history. He emphasized, “the importance of doing a good term daily, reminding the students that these values are not just for scouts and guides, but for all. He encouraged everyone to respect nature, respect to each other
and strive to be good scouts. Our Correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta began with quote of Subhash Chandra Bose saying, ” Give me a hundred disciplined men, and I will give you freedom” highlighting the importance of discipline. He referred to this event as one of the feather for school and thanked the Principal the team behind the initiatives. He encouraged the students to seize this opportunity to achieve something in the upcoming days. The program anchored by
Ms . Nishel Saldanha of Grade VIII. The program drew to a close Ms. Eva Maria Martis Grade VI delivered vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the successful execution of the event.
