0n 04/11/2024, Loreto English medium High School celebrated “Diwali festival” with the great joy. Our School Principal Rev.Fr. Jason Vijay Monis and Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Shalini Pais were present on the dias. The program was commenced with prayer song. Ms. Divi. J. Shetty welcomed the gathering. The lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, marked the triumph of light over darkness, ushering in an atmosphere of joy and positivity. Following this Gahana from Grade VII shared insightfull words on the significance of Diwali. The school organized a Lantern and greeting card competition, and Our School Principal announced the names of the winners. Our School Principal Rev.Fr. Jason Vijay Monis addressed the gathering, expressed wishes for Diwali. And he said “Diwali is not just a celebration of lights, but reminder to bring light into our lives and the lives of those around us. let’s not hide this light. Let us work to cultivate values, goodness and spread this light wherever you go.” The celebration continued with cultural performances by the students. The event was anchored by Divi.J. Shetty from Grade VII. The program concluded with singing of the school anthem.
