The festive season came alive at Loreto English medium High school as the Christmas celebration on 23rd December 2024 brought together the entire school to experience the joy and warmth of Christmas.
The celebration began on reverent note with a prayer song Seeking blessings for a goodwill. Ms. Alfiya Fathima Grade VI extended a warm and beautiful welcome to the gathering. The School Correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, The Principal Rev. Fr Jason Vijay Monis, Sr. Idoline, Headmistress of Loreto Aided Kannada medium School , The Vice Principal Mrs. Anitha Pais, were present on the dais.
The Christmas celebration inaugurated by the dignitaries with the cutting of the cake and they shared the sweetness with tiny tots.
The prizes of Vedic Maths and Abacus were distributed during the celebration.
One of the most enchanting moments of the event was the Carol singing by the Choir group. The carols created a festive atmosphere and conveyed the essence of Christmas.
The chief guest Sr. Idoline Rodrigues Headmistress of Loretto Aided Kannada Medium School addressed the gathering and congratulated the students and teachers in organising the celebration. She also said “We will live joyfully and allow others to live joyfully.
The cultural program added vibrancy to the joy of the season.
The Correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta ,Conveyed his heartfelt wishes for a joyful and prosperous Christmas. He emphasized that Christmas is not just a celebration but a reminder of God’s presence among us. He also highlighted the significance of the crib, symbolizing the humble birth of Jesus Christ . Fr. Francis encouraged everyone to embrace the true spirit of Christmas by sharing love ,joy, and happiness with your families and Loved ones.
The program concluded with a gracious vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Adel Lisha Barboza of Grade VI. The programme was anchored by Miss Eva Angel Martis of Grade VI.
The event ended on Solemn note with the singing of the School anthem.
The students enjoyed with sweets. Our school Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis Extended his Warm wishes to everyone for a joyful and blessed Christmas , filled with Love, Peace and Happiness. Merry Christmas.
