celebration of republic day

The 76 th “Republic Day” was celebrated with the great patriotism and enthusiasm at  Loreto English Medium High School on 26th January 2025. The program commenced with the arrival of the guest, who was escorted with the pride by the School band. Our school correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, Chief Guest Mr.  Leo Pinto Retired Military Hawaldar, Our School Principal Rev.Fr. Jason Vijay Monis, Sr. Idoline Rodrigues Headmistress of Loreto Aided Kannada Medium School, Vice Principal Mrs. Anitha Shalini Pais, Mr. Cyprian Dsouza Vice President of Parish Pastrol council and P.T.A. Vice President Mr. Sachin Noronha and Members of School Management were graced the stage. The event begin with a prayer song Vande Mataram.  Atithi of class 7th extended a warm welcome to the gathering. The unfurling of the flag marked a significant moment in the celebration,  symbolizing the Pride,  Unity and strength of our nation. This was followed by an impressive Republic Day Parade by the students, showcasing precision, enthusiasm, unity and deep sense of Patriotic spirit. Our School Correspondent Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, President of Today’s celebration his inspiring speech, highlighted the essence of unity as the cornerstone of a glorious nation. He emphasized the importance of cherishing and celebrating Republic Day as a symbol of our shared values and aspirations. Concluding his address, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who worked tirelessly to make the celebration a grand success.”

A Melodious patriotic song “Yeh Watan” was presented by the school choir group. A special highlight of the day was the inauguration of the newly constructed play area for LKG and UKG students, providing them with a joyful space for fun and Holistic development. The celebration was anchored by Nafeesa Afeeda from Grade IX. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Riya Lobo from Grade IX. The celebration was winded with a School Anthem.
