“Beyond academics, paving the way for all round excellence.” Inauguration of Clubs, Houses, and Activities at Loreto English Medium High School, CBSE

In order to develop leadership, teamwork, and individual talents among students, the inauguration of various clubs, houses, and extra-curricular activities was held at Loreto English Medium High School, CBSE. The programme began with a prayer song by the school choir.

The inauguration was carried out in a creative and symbolic manner by opening flower buds, each representing a house, club.

The school Principal Fr Jason Vijay Monis warmly welcomed the teachers in charge of extra-curricular activities by presenting them with roses. Flags were handed over by the Principal to the house captains, signifying the beginning of their commitment to lead with integrity and serve their houses with dedication. The school Captain Ms. Riya, administered the oath to all the captains.

Master Anson Smith of Grade 8th spoke about the importance of club participation in helping students discover and nurture their skills beyond academics. A  vibrant dance performance was presented by the dance master, Mr. Prerith. A melodious song was  sung by Mrs. Jayashree, the Carnatic music teacher.

In his address, the Principal emphasized that attention, sacrifice, and dedication are essential to acquiring skills. He also highlighted that in today’s competitive world, mastering two or three skills is no longer optional but necessary for personal and professional growth. He wished all the students success in their journey.

The programme was anchored by Apoorva of Class 8. The welcome address was delivered Sachiel and the vote of thanks was proposed by Stelan from grade 8.

The school offers skill based activities like Chess, Vedic Maths, Karate, abacus, Carnatic Music, Western Dance and trumpet to enhance students overall development.
