Loreto  CBSE School Organizes Exciting Competitions to Nurture Young Talent

Loreto English Medium High School, CBSE, conducted a series of competitions aimed at encouraging creativity, self-expression, and hands-on learning among students. Participants took part with great enthusiasm. Principal Rev. Fr Jason Vijay Monis appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged them to continue exploring their talents.

Action Song Competition (Grades 1 to 4)
An Action Song Competition was conducted for Grades 1 to 4 to build confidence, improve language skills, and promote joyful expression through movement.
Students came dressed in colourful costumes and performed action songs with matching expressions and gestures. They sang loudly and clearly, enjoying their moment on stage. Through this activity, students learned rhythm, coordination, and stage confidence.

Leaf Craft Competition (Grades 5 to 7)
A Leaf Craft Competition was held for Grades 5 to 7 to promote creativity using natural materials and help students connect with nature.
Each student used different types of leaves to create animals, scenery, birds, and other imaginative designs. They carefully arranged and pasted the leaves on paper, showcasing neatness and originality. This competition enhanced their fine motor skills, creativity, and observation of natural forms.

Coconut Leaf Art Competition (Grades 8 to 10)
A Coconut Leaf Art Competition was organised for Grades 8 to 10 to encourage eco-friendly crafting and preserve traditional skills.
Students skillfully crafted various artistic items using coconut leaves, displaying innovation and an appreciation for sustainable art forms. The competition fostered environmental awareness and respect for traditional crafts.
