Loreto English Medium High School CBSE organized Singing Competition for students of Grades 1 to 10 on 10th September 2025 in the School Auditorium. The event aimed to encourage musical talent and boost the confidence of students in performing in front of an audience.
The competition was conducted in three categories:
Grade 1 to 4 Patriotic Song Competition
Grade 5 to 7 Folk Song Competition
Grade 8 to 10 Bhavageethe Competition
Students performed songs in English, Hindi, or Kannada. Many of them used live musical instruments such as Keyboard, Tabla, and Tumki, while others performed using karaoke tracks.
The competition was judged by Royston Rodrigues, an esteemed alumnus of the school, singer, and instrumental musician, and Mrs. Jayashree, the science teacher and Carnatic music instructor.
School Principal Fr. Jason Vijay Monis extended his best wishes to all the students, encouraging them to perform with courage and enthusiasm.
The event allowed students to explore their musical abilities, resulting in a cheerful and motivating experience for all.
