A Divine Celebration: Patrons’ Day at Loreto English Medium High School CBSE

Loreto English Medium High School, CBSE, celebrated Patrons’ Day with great devotion and enthusiasm in the school auditorium. The programme was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr Francis Crasta, Manager, Chief Guest Sr. Idoline Rodrigues, Headmistress of Loreto Aided Kannada Medium School,   Rev. Fr Jason Vijay Monis, Principal, Mr Rodney Ivan D’Souza, PTA Vice President  and Mrs Anitha Pais, Vice Principal.

The celebration began with the invocation of God’s blessings through a melodious prayer song rendered by the school choir. The dignitaries formally inaugurated the programme by lighting the candle before the statue of Loreto Mata.

The Chief Guest conveyed her heartfelt wishes on the feast. In her message, she encouraged the students to learn three important lessons from our Patroness, to grow in faith, to remain humble and obedient, and to be loving and joyful both at home and in school.

The Manager, Rev. Fr Francis Crasta, spoke about the history of Loreto Mata and highlighted how Mother Mary lovingly protects everyone. He also shared how Mother Mary continues to watch over our school and nurture it with care and blessings

To mark the significance of the occasion, Viyola from Grade 10 spoke about the importance of Patrons’ Day, highlighting the values of faith, service, and leadership inspired by our Patroness.

The students presented a vibrant cultural programme which included soulful songs, graceful dances, and a meaningful skit depicting the history and heritage of Loreto. Their performances added beauty and devotion to the day’s celebration.

Master John from grade 10 compered the programme, Apoorva of grade 9 extended a warm welcome. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Verona.

The Patrons’ Day celebration was a memorable occasion that strengthened the spirit of unity, love, and devotion in the Loreto family.
