Loretto Central School organised a farewell programme for the students of Grade X Batch 2025–26 in the school auditorium.
The occasion was graced by School Manager Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis, PTA Vice President Mr. Rodney Ivan D’Souza, and Vice Principal Mrs. Anitha Pais.
The programme began with a prayer song, invoking God’s blessings upon the outgoing students. The students of Grade IX welcomed their seniors by showering flower petals, creating an emotional and memorable moment.
Riya and Chinmay of Grade X shared their experiences of school life, reflecting on their journey, cherished memories, and the guidance they received from their teachers.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Violet Rodrigues, Social Science Teacher, emphasised that while marks are important, values are far more important in life. She spoke about the significance of discipline, respect for parents and teachers, and strong moral values. She concluded her address with the inspiring words of Swami Vivekananda, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”
PTA Vice President Mr. Rodney Ivan D’Souza addressed the students and reminded them that the world ahead would be different. He encouraged them to move forward with confidence and wished them a bright and successful future.
Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis in his address, highlighted that the students of Grade X were the first batch of the school to appear for the CBSE Class X Board Examination, marking an important milestone in the history of the institution. He encouraged them to aim for excellent results and give their best in the examinations. He further advised the students to choose the right path and make the right decisions in life, reminding them that the world ahead would be full of challenges and surprises. He urged them to be responsible, confident, and determined to achieve something meaningful in life and wished them a bright and successful future.
School Manager Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, in his address, motivated the students to give their hearts and minds to their studies, achieve success, and return to the school in the future as distinguished chief guests. He encouraged them to strive for excellence and make the school proud.
The programme was enriched by cultural performances and a PPT presentation by the students of Grade IX, beautifully showcasing the memorable journey of their seniors.
The programme was compered by Dhanvitha and Ashel of Grade IX. Jonaida welcomed the gathering, and Riya D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
The farewell programme concluded on a warm and emotional note, leaving behind cherished memories and heartfelt wishes for the outgoing students as they step into a new phase of life.
